what is Holistic Therapy?

As a qualified holistic therapist also known as a complementary therapist, I am often asked what is it ? and what do you do ?

As a therapist I consider the whole person mind, body, spirit and emotions unlike other professions who treat symptoms. My qualifications are in Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Massage and once you have the basics you can extend on this knowledge with short courses to add to your skill base. I personally have added Deep Tissue, Indian Head, Hopi Ear Candles, Pregnancy and Advanced reflexology.

There are a variety of other holistic therapies here are a few others acupuncture, meditation, reiki, counselling, nutritionist, herbalist and yoga instructor to name a few.

My therapies create relaxation and balance which in turn promotes wellness. Holistic therapy is a chance for you to disconnect from the demands of life and focus on yourself and your wellbeing. I personally think holistic therapy is essential in life and should not be scene as a treat or a luxury, but a staple and key piece in life's jigsaw puzzle.

Incorporating holistic therapies into your regular routine can help with stress, improve sleep, improve low mood and enhance overall quality of life.
