The purpose of processing client data
In order to give professional treatments, I need to gather and retain sensitive information about you and your health. I will only use this information for helping me with your treatment and with recommendations for your health and wellbeing during and after your appointment. I currently collect and process the following information:

The right to object - To be able to tell your therapist you don't want them to use certain parts of your information or only to use it for certain purposes.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Therapists Rights
Please note:

If you don't agree to your therapist keeping records of information about you and your treatments, or if you don't allow them to use the information in the way they need to for treatments, the therapist may not be able to treat you.

Your therapist has to keep your records of treatments for a certain period as described above, which may mean that even if you ask them to erase any details about you, they might have to keep these details until after that period has passed.

Your therapist can move their records between their computers and IT systems, as long as your details are protected from being seen by others without permission.
CCTV
CCTV / Ring Door Bell is for crime prevention. They are used for maintaining the security of my property and premises and for preventing and investigating crime only. For these reasons the information processed may include visual images, personal appearance and behaviours. This information may be about staff, customers, clients, offenders and suspected offender, members of the public and those inside, entering or on the immediate vicinity of the area under surveillance. Where necessary or required information is shared with the data subjects themselves, employees and agents, services providers, police forces, security organisations and persons making an enquiry,
Taking pictures and videos of treatments
Nail Treatments - At the end of the appointment a picture or video maybe taken to place on my social media to showcase my work and skills. You will not be identified or referenced on the post and the picture will only be of your nails only. You can opt out of having pictures taken.

Holistic Treatments - Photos and videos will only be taken with consent prior to the treatment. The treatments will be advertised as "filming sessions" at a reduced cost and will be carried out for the main purpose of creating content for my social media. You will not be identified by name in the material produced, but you will be recognisable. You can opt out of having the picture / video released and can request for it to be taken down.
Minors
Nicola Brown Therapies does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 17. When minors attend appointments they will be accompanied by an adult and a consultation filled out by the parental guardian. My website is not for under 18's and is the responsibility of the parental guardian to monitor their internet use. My website does not ask for a age to join my mailing list or to buy products.
Cookies
Nicola Brown Therapies may use various technologies to collect and store information, when you visit my website such as cookies or similar to identify your browser and device. By using my website you consent to the use. There will be a consent box which will appear when you access my website highlighting this.
Paying by card
On using your card for payment I only use two methods. Zettle by Paypal card reader and WIX online store payments which are through Stripe. Please see their relevant Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Feedback & Reviews
Feedback received by Google Reviews, Facebook Reviews, text, email, whats app, social media, direct messaging, will be used across all my social platforms. Your name and personal details will be removed and only the words relating to the treatment will be shown. No reference to you will be made.
